Rajini off to Goa… disappoints fans…

Rajinikanth's fans are in for a disappointment with the star deciding to postpone the meeting that was scheduled during the first week of October. According to Rajini 's close associate Satyanarayana, the superstar will be off to Goa, as director Shankar has decided to film a few songs and scenes in the scenic location with Rajini and
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starting from October 7th. This second schedule of Enthiran shooting will go on for ten days, he added. It may be recalled that the star had recently decided to meet his fans to strengthen his fans' association. A couple of days ago a few of Rajini 's fans gathered near Sathyanarayana's home demanding a meeting with their star to urge him enter politics.

Will Ajith & Surya give Silambarasan company?

With Deepavali hardly a month away, the race has begun to get movies into theaters in time for the festival weekend. At the moment, however there is only one confirmed entrant for the Deepavali weekend and that happens to be Silambarasan’s Silambattam. He will be searching for an elusive hit and Silambattam seems to have the right credentials
for the same. The movie will feature Silambarasan in a dual role for the first time after Manmadhan.Meanwhile, with Silambattam as the sole confirmed entrant, at least three others are bending their backs to get into theaters for what will be a fairly quite Deepavali. Bharath’s Seval under the direction of commercial rural action king Hari is almost ready and the promos are already on air suggesting the usual Hari fare of action in the village milieu. The rugged looks of Bharath have drawn attention. Also Hari’s impeccable record when it comes to action flicks has made the movie go a bit high on the expectation meter. But, all eyes are on the other two gearing up for release. Vaaranam Aayiram and Aegan may clash on Deepavali for sparks to fly, if everything goes as planned. Reports suggest that the works are progressing with fervor to meet the date and nothing can be said as yet. But, with the music released and the promos on air, Vaaranam Aayiram seems to be the more bankable option to make it for the festival season, but Aegan can by no means be ruled out. One need not talk about the expectations that these two movies have generated and if they do face off, it will be one great Deepavali

PANDHAYAM Music Review

Directed by: S.A.Chandrasekar.

Starring: Nithin Satya, Sindhu Tolani, Prakash Raj, Radhika, and Meghna Reddy.

Touted as a movie of ‘a Vijay fan’, it has Prakash Raj playing the part of an unscrupulous politician. The film itself revolves round the tussle between Prakash and Nithin, with Meghna providing the glamour quotient. Vijay Antony, of ‘Nakka Mukka’ fame has scored the music for this movie, which carries 5 songs. So what’s sensational here? Let us check it out.
Surangani…

Vocals: Balaji, Megha, Maya

Lyrics: Ceylon A.E.Manohar

A super hit song of yesteryears from Sri Lanka, the rights of which were acquired by this team and incorporated into the movie to target the college-goers. Not much by way of music except for some jaunty piped sounds, native drums, and a little guitar. The vocals are enthusiastic but the articulation could have been smoother instead of sounding laboured. The team seems to be banking on the success of this song, going by their ads.
